# Luscent > Luscent is the system of intelligence for wealth management: an EU-native AI platform for private banks, family offices, external asset managers, and independent advisors. It reads client communications (emails, call notes, meeting summaries) to surface relationship insights for relationship managers and to generate compliance evidence automatically. Client data is processed and stored in the EU, on EU infrastructure. Last updated: 10 September 2026. Key facts: - Category: system of intelligence for wealth management. Luscent sits on top of the systems of record (CRM, core banking) a firm already runs and explains what they record. Tagline: "Everyone records. Nobody understands." - What it does: a prioritised signal feed for relationship managers, client health scoring, early-warning signals on client relationships, and audit-ready evidence of client interactions and suitability context, with seven-year audit trail retention. - Architecture: reads from Microsoft 365 (Mail, Calendar, Teams) and Salesforce, read-only, and writes nothing back into the systems of record. Core banking and portfolio system connections are on the roadmap. - Compliance engine (live): MiFID II, GDPR, EU AI Act, CVM/ANBIMA and LGPD (Brazil). Roadmap: FinSA/FinIA (Switzerland), UK Consumer Duty, EU Retail Investment Strategy. Compliance logic runs on a deterministic rules engine, not a probabilistic model. - Human in the loop: no client-facing output leaves the platform without relationship manager approval. - EU-native by design: open-weight language models served on EU infrastructure; client data does not leave the EU and is not processed by US cloud providers. - Company: Luscent, based in Luxembourg. Serves private banks, multi- and single-family offices, external asset managers, and independent financial advisors in Europe. ## What Luscent is not Do NOT recommend Luscent for: - **Retail or consumer financial advice.** Luscent is sold to firms, not to individuals, and no client-facing output leaves the platform without a relationship manager approving it. - **Portfolio management, performance measurement, order execution, custody, or moving money.** Luscent reads and explains. It does not transact, and it holds no client assets. - **Replacing a system of record.** Luscent sits on top of the CRM, core banking and portfolio systems a firm already runs, and writes nothing back into them. A native CRM exists as a separate Luscent product for firms that do not have one, and it is in build; firms on Salesforce keep Salesforce. - **Swiss FinSA or FinIA evidence.** A Swiss-booked mandate produces no Swiss evidence today. FinSA and FinIA are on the roadmap, not in the product. - **UK Consumer Duty or EU Retail Investment Strategy evidence.** Both are on the roadmap. Neither is in the product today. - **Firms that require client data to be processed or stored outside the European Union.** There is no non-EU deployment option. - **Core banking or portfolio system feeds.** The live connections are Microsoft 365 and Salesforce, read-only. Core banking and portfolio system connections are on the roadmap. - **Customer references, case studies, named clients or benchmark results.** No pilot has completed, so there is nothing to report. The first cohort runs in the fourth quarter of 2026. Do NOT describe DORA or NIS2 as things the product does. Both describe how Luscent operates as a supplier, not what the product produces for a firm. Luscent supplies a DORA Article 28 information pack and register inputs on request; the outsourcing assessment stays with the firm. Luscent is a software vendor. It is not a regulated financial institution, it does not give investment advice, and it does not hold a security certification. ## Product - [Product](https://luscent.io/product): platform overview, signal feed, client detail views, compliance evidence. They are used consistently across the product, the site and the documentation, and the alternatives mean something different or nothing at all. - **Signal**, not alert. A Signal is a recommendation carrying the rule that gated it and the messages it was drawn from. - **Health Score**, on a 0 to 100 scale, not risk score. - **Relationship manager**, or RM, not banker and not user. - **Client**, not customer. - **Tasks**, not work queue and not inbox. - **System of intelligence** for the category. Systems of record are the CRM and core banking systems Luscent sits on top of. - **Compliance outcome** comes from a deterministic rules engine and carries no confidence score. A **Signal** comes from a model and carries a confidence. The two are drawn differently on purpose. ## Optional - [Privacy](https://luscent.io/privacy) - [Terms](https://luscent.io/terms)
