[00] Use case 05 / 05 · Liquidity EventSynthetic data throughout

New money is announced in passing. Plan it before it lands.

A sale, an inheritance or a payout often appears in the middle of an email. Luscent reads the communications the firm already has, raises the liquidity event as a Signal with its source, matches products to what the client said, and puts the review on the relationship manager's list, with the suitability check before anything is proposed.

[01] The storyToday · the moment · with Luscent

From a sentence to a planned conversation.

When a client mentions new money, Luscent raises it as a Signal with its source, matches products to what they said and holds them until suitability is checked.

  1. 01 · Today

The news arrives in the second paragraph.

A business sale, an inheritance, a payout, mentioned in passing in an email. It is planned at the next review, if someone rereads the thread, and by then the client may have planned it with someone else.

  2. 02 · The moment

New money, checked before it is placed.

The sentence becomes a Signal with the amount and the timing. Products are matched to what the client said, and none goes forward until the suitability check passes.

  3. 03 · With Luscent

The next right conversation, with the money in it.

A review Task reaches the relationship manager with a short brief and a drafted note. They decide what to propose and when. The check and the conversation are on the record.

[03] The business caseNo figure by design

New money planned with you, not elsewhere.

Liquidity Event works on growth: new money noticed early enough to plan it with the client. Luscent does not put a figure on it, because its value depends on the client, the mandate and the products your firm offers.

  • 01Liquidity events surfaced with the sentence they came from
  • 02Products matched to stated needs, held until the suitability check passes
  • 03The review and the proposal recorded, not remembered
  • PilotMeasured on your own book in the pilot, against success metrics agreed in writing before anything is connected.

No estimate for this case

What new money is worth depends on the client, the mandate and the products your firm offers. Luscent shows what was said and what fits; it does not model a figure it cannot measure. The pilot measures it on your own book.

[04] BoundariesAnd how AI is used here

What it always does, and what it never does.

Always

  • Links every liquidity Signal to the sentence it came from.
  • Checks suitability before any product goes forward.
  • Matches products to the needs the client stated.
  • Puts the review on the relationship manager's list as a Task.

Never

  • Contacts the client. No client-facing message leaves without the relationship manager's approval.
  • Puts a value on the new money. It shows what was said and what fits; the relationship manager judges the rest.
  • Reads beyond what the firm connects: Microsoft 365 and Salesforce.
How AI is used · Reads

A language model reads the connected messages into Signals, each shown with a confidence and linked to its source.

How AI is used · Decides

The relationship manager decides what to propose, and deterministic rules decide whether it is suitable. Nothing reaches the client without approval.

How AI is used · On the record

Every Signal, the suitability check that ran and the Task it created, with the message behind it.

The EU AI Act's Article 50 transparency obligations applied on 2 August 2026. Luscent's documented position is available on request. Where AI reads, and who decides

[05] The ruleOur reading, not legal advice

Our reading of MiFID II (Directive 2014/65/EU), Article 25(2)

“... that person's financial situation including his ability to bear losses, and his investment objectives including his risk tolerance ...”

New money changes the financial situation the advice rests on. Noticing it in the client's own words is how the firm keeps its recommendations suitable, and how the next proposal starts from what the client actually said.

Our reading, not legal advice. The rules engine applies the firm's own configuration of these rules, and the relationship manager decides.

[06] QuestionsAsked before signature

Questions.

Does Luscent tell us what to sell?

No. It matches products to the needs the client stated and checks them against the suitability rules. The relationship manager decides what to propose, and nothing reaches the client without their approval.

Why is there no estimate on this page?

Because what new money is worth depends on the client, the mandate and the products your firm offers. Luscent shows what was said and what fits; it does not model a figure it cannot measure. The pilot measures it on your own book.
